Australian Submission Academy (ASA) is founded by 17 X National Champion, Prof Burak Sarman.

Travelling the world competing, teaching & learning his art he started the Sarman Academy at a very young age raising Australian & World medalist students. Prof Burak became Australia’s Youngest Black Belt in June 2017. Soon after, he established the Sarman Academy officially in 2018.

In its first 2 years of operation it was the fastest growing martial arts school in Melbourne, independent of any association. Since then, the Academy and Burak have received strong worldwide brand recognition and continuing to make a mark across the globe.

ASA is modelled on the elite coaching and training methodology of Burak Sarman. Where all walks of life can learn the worlds most effective martial art. ASA students will thrive lifelong in an supportive & sincere team environment.
